Dave - Database update!  We're now up to 788 games listed, and 264 with in-depth information.  While the numbers haven't increased quite as much as usual, it's mostly due to filling in gaps in the last update, especially review scores from NP, ESRB ratings, cart sizes, and the like.  Make sure to download the latest version from the Database page!

September 9, 2000

Dave - EAGB has been kind enough to provide links to two new videos of upcoming GBA games.  Check the games pages for MKA and Silent Hill AGB for links to the nice-quality videos.

Dave - GBDojo reports that Magic Box has reported that Namco will indeed be developing for GBA.  Their first game? Klonoa II, based on the PS2 action game, Klonoa.

Dave - I moved another week of old headlines to the News archive...check it out, and relive Spaceworld 2000!

Dave - We're still here! And we come bearing another exclusive!  Check out the Napoleon page in the Games section for a nice shot of a GBA clearly showing Napoleon's title screen.  Trust me, it's all that and a bag of chips.

Dave - New feature!  Check out Screen Analysis Part 3 for my extensive speculation on Sansara Naga and Super Black Bass 4 Advance!  If you haven't seen Part 1 and Part 2, do yourself a favor and check those out, too.

Dave - NCL redesigned their front page, using some of the cartoon-style characters from Paper Mario. Want to go straight to their GBA page?  Click here.

Dave - We finally put up pages for 4 new GBA games...unfortunately, we have nothing more than titles and developers.  Don't fret, though...when more news breaks, it will be here.  Check out Rayman, Star Trek: Invasion, Tenchu, and Vigilante 8: Second Offense.

Dave - Check the articles section for 2 new articles about the pre-ECTS GBA unveiling, and the NOE's booth and games on display.

September 2, 2000

Dave - Gamespot has posted a new screen of Hexcite X which can be found on GBD's Hexcite X page.  For those who doubted my analysis, you have no choice but to believe me, for all that I said has been confirmed! Muahaha!

Dave - IGNPocket reports that Pocket Studios is bringing a classic Defender clone to the GBA.  Check out our new games page for Dropzone for the details.

August 31, 2000

Dave - FGNOnline reports that 3DO will bring the Army Men franchise to the GBA. Check the new page for Army Men GBA (not an actual title) for all the details.

August 30, 2000

Dave - EAGB reports that Rage Software will be showing Denki Block for GBA at ECTS, along with a GBC version.  As usual, a new game page has been added for Denki Block.

August 29, 2000

Dave - IGNPocket reports that PSX's Spyro is coming to the GBA! Check our new Spyro page in the game section for more info.

Dave - What's Hexcite?  What's Picross? And why should you care?  These answers and more in the latest feature, Screen Analysis Part 2!

August 28, 2000

Dave - If you haven't seen them yet, make sure you take a look at the MKA videos from SpaceWorld.  IGNPocket has both of them.

Dave - Database is updated!  The current numbers: 785 listed, 260 in-depth.  Be sure to check it out!

August 27, 2000

Dave - Slow news day, but at least we updated, right?  More site maintenance:  Popular and New links can now be found on the right side of the front page, the GBMafia (of DMGIce) link can now be found on every page, and the image giving the current stats on the database should now link to the main Database page.  Also, we expect an update to the database by tomorrow, so make sure to bookmark us and come back later.

August 26, 2000

Dave - Miyamoto Speaks! thegia.com has posted an article filled with information straight from the mouth of Miyamoto.  We have brought all the GBA info, along with some commentary, to you in article form.  Check it out.

Dave - thegia.com reports that Silent Hill AGB will have a nice, 15 frames/second FMV opening, due to the fact that a graphic novel leaves lots of empty cart space.  The Silent Hill game page has been updating accordingly.

Dave - Quick update to the links section; make sure that you bookmark the new links.  GBDojo was the 1st site to link to us as a source, DMGIce has reviews of...nearly everything, and EAGB covers all the bases pretty evenly.

Dave - Nintendo.com's new GBA list gives us translated titles of Japanese games, but no new info or screens.  Pinobee is now Pinobee: Quest of Heart, Mugen is now Unlimited Mystery Tours Zero, and Boku yada yada yada is now I'm an Air-Traffic Controller!  I'm still Dave.  Also, we did a little restructuring of the ever-growing games section, so please bear (or bare, *wink wink*) with us on any broken links.

Dave - IGNPocket's Release Date list mentions Tenchu and Star Trek: Invasion, both from Activision, as GBA launch titles.  If this is true, then there are now 43 games announced...
